[HR CLUB] Impact of AI to Taiwan’s HR Market and Trends 🦾

Club HR gathered this quarter at the Crédit Agricole CIB office in Taipei for a session exploring the impact of AI on Taiwan's HR market and emerging trends.
We extend our sincere thanks to CACIB for kindly hosting us, and to William Wang and Sean Wu of Cake Taiwan for their insightful presentation. Cake, a leading HR services company connecting candidates and companies across Taiwan, Japan, and Southeast Asia, shared perspectives on how AI is reshaping recruitment. With HR teams facing a sharp rise in applications per role, the discussion centered on using AI not simply to manage volume, but as a bridge to a borderless talent pool, freeing HR professionals to focus on strategy such as reskilling, internal mobility, and corporate culture, while AI takes on sourcing, screening, and scheduling.
The presentation was followed by a lively exchange among members, who raised questions on how AI can support fairer matching, how Taiwan-based companies can strengthen their offer amid salary competitiveness challenges, how AI can support foreign talent working in Mandarin-speaking environments, and how AI is changing both candidate applications and traditional screening methods.
We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Amber Flynn, our new External Affairs & Member Relations Manager at the French Chamber Taiwan, who takes over coordination of Club HR. We thank Maxime Dejaeghere for his dedication in launching and growing this initiative, and look forward to continuing to build this strong HR community together.
Our thanks to all the members who joined and contributed to the discussion, with representatives from AGS Four Wind, Amundi, Business France, Crédit Agricole CIB, Lado, Louis Vuitton, Servier, STMicroelectronics, and Volkswagen Group.
Exclusive Member Offer from Cake
Following the session, William and Sean have kindly extended an offer exclusively to French Chamber Taiwan members. Cake for Employers is their AI-powered hiring platform, which imports candidates from every source, scores them for fit, and automates interview scheduling, so HR teams can spend more time on people and less on admin. Members can take advantage of a complimentary recruitment-process health check together with a 21-day free trial of the Cake ATS; signing up for any annual plan afterwards comes with one extra month free.
