What type of data do we collect and why?

The data you give us

Account creation form:

Email : Your email address will be your login to access your private-space. In addition to this, it will allow us to contact you or send you our newsletter if you have expressed the wish to receive it. Indeed, we will solicit you by email only if you have given us your agreement. For example by subscribing to our newsletter.

Civility, Name / Surname, Country, Current Function: This information allows us to know a little more about you and to prepare personalized communications. In the form, these fields are not mandatory for you to create a private space. You are therefore free to leave blank if you do not want.

Profile modification form on the private-space:

Sectors & Interests: This information allows us to know your areas of interest to send you sector newsletters tailored to your daily problems and likely to meet your needs. We will send you these sector newsletters only if you subscribe to them.

Photo : The ability to upload a photo is a special feature only for our members if they wish to appear in the member directory as a contact, and if they wish to participate in the matching platform.

Application and CV submission:

The data you fill out may be sent to companies in the event that your profile meets their needs.

Professional status: This status allows us to evaluate your availability if we have suitable offers for your profile in companies in urgent need.

Your background, mastered software, CV: This information allows us to determine if your professional experiences are in line with the offers offered by companies in our network.

Your current salary, minimum and maximum wanted: This information will allow the company interested in your profile to determine if it can align with your salary requirements; This field is not mandatory, you are free to not inform it.

The job you are looking for: This information is essential for us to match your profile with the needs of the companies in our network.

 

Registration form for an event:

Name, Surname, Civility: These informations allow us to draw up our registration list for the event.

Email : Your email allows us to communicate the different information about the event. For example your registration confirmation, reminders, a report of the event or a satisfaction survey.

Name of your company, function: These informations allow us to know more about your profile and why you are interested in our event. Moreover it is possible that certain events are reserved for a specific category of people, or addressed to a particular sector.

Cookies

We collect data about your journey on our website, this data allows us to optimize our content and improve your user experience. The recovered data is all anonymous and global, we do not get an IP address. They are obtained thanks to cookies that are deposited in your browser upon your arrival on our site.

If you want to delete the cookies stored on your device and set your browser to refuse cookies, you can do so via the preferences of your internet browser. These navigation options for cookies are usually found in the "Options", "Tools" or "Preferences" menus.

These data allow us to know more about the journey of users on our site and allows us to improve our content and the quality of service that we can deliver.These data are completely anonymous, therefore we have no way to link an action on our site to a named person.

Sensitive data

We do not collect any "sensitive" data. In other words, data relating to racial or ethnic origin, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership, health or sexual orientation.

The linking platform

This platform is strictly reserved for members of the chamber.

If you are a member, you have several options to control the information that will go up in the directory and in the network module:

You can choose whether or not to appear in the directory as a contact: If you choose no, no mention of you will be published in the directory. You will not have access to the connection.

You can choose whether or not to be put in relation: If you chose to be visible in the directory but you do not want the module to be connected, only your photo and your name appear in the member directory. No contact information will be published. In this case, you will not have access to the linking, you will not be able to get the coordinates of other members.

In case you participate in the connection feature: Only your photo, your name and your function will appear in the contacts of the directory. Network members will have access to a contact request button to get your contact information. However they will have these coordinates only when you will accept their request. Without your consent, no contact information will be accessible by anyone.

Where are stored your personal data ?

All the data we keep are physically located in France. We use two French service providers for the processing of your data (storage, segmentation  and communication).

 

What are your rights?

The right to access 

You can obtain from us a summary of the personal data we have about you. 

Note that you will be asked proof of your identity in order to obtain this information, and that in case of request for mailing, administrative costs will be at your charge. 

The right to rectification

You have the right to obtain rectification of personal data about you if they are inaccurate. In addition, you have the right to have your incomplete personal data completed, by providing us with a supplementary declaration.

The right to oblivion

You may require at any time that we delete your personal data. Your request will be processed as soon as possible and your data will be deleted if their processing is not necessary in the following cases:

  • To comply with a legal obligation which requires the treatment provided by the Union law or by the law of the Member State to which the controller is subject, or to perform a public interest mission or exercise of the public authority of which the controller is responsible;

Changes to our rules on the protection of privacy


CCI Taiwan can update its confidentiality commitment periodically. In the event of a substantial change, a message will be posted on our website accompanied by a link to our updated privacy policy.
