Meeting with a delegation of French Senators
This morning the French Chamber Taiwan had the pleasure to welcome French Senators Patrick CHAIZE, Didier MANDELLI, Thani MOHAMED-SOIHILI, Louis-Jean DE NICOLAŸ, Brigitte DEVÉSA and Else JOSEPH as part of a their visit of Taiwan!
Present for CCEF Taiwan Committee and Bureau français de Taipei were: Honorary President of CCEF Taiwan Committee Denis FORMAN (FORMAN & Associates), Vice-President of CCEF Taiwan Committee Julien MARTIN (SOITEC Taiwan), Odile HUANG for the French Economic Department of Taiwan, Jean-Baptiste MONNIER (BNP Paribas Cardif Taiwan), Mustapha DJEROUM (Thales Taiwan) and Ming-Lung CHANG (EDF Renewables Taiwan).
The meeting agenda included an overview of the Taiwanese economy and bilateral trades with France, as well as a strategic focus on five key themes:
- Semiconductors and electronics 🖥️
- Energy ⚡
- Finance 💹
- Aerospace 🛰️
- Geopolitics 🌏
