The Chamber
CCI France International – Asia Directors Seminar

Last week, our Director Stephane PEDEN represented the French Chamber Taiwan at the CCI France International Asia Directors Seminar, hosted by FKCCI, the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at a particularly meaningful moment: their 40th anniversary, and 140 years of France-Korea diplomatic relations.
Here are some of the things discussed during this seminar that you need to know about the chambers:
🌐 The CCI FI network is one regional infrastructure, not 14 separate chambers. What works in Seoul informs Taipei, what Vietnam tests, Manila refines. Best practices travel through conversations rather than slide decks, and that is precisely the value our members benefit from in Taiwan.
💹 Asia is 14 different markets with one shared reality. French companies need a credible local partner to land properly here, and that is exactly what each chamber in the network is built to be. Our role at French Chamber Taiwan is to be that partner on the ground.
🖥️ On AI, Peter Drucker had already written in 1999 that the 21st century would be the era of white-collar productivity. Twenty-six years later, the discussions in Seoul made it tangible. Our role as a Chamber is to equip our team and our members so they sharpen what they already do well, at the pace each market can absorb. BUT our strength is the Human, the technology is a tool.
For our members, this means a 2026 sharper on every front: tighter member acquisition, premium event formats, structured sponsorship strategy, an expanded Team France Taïwan dynamic, and the progressive integration of AI into the services we deliver.
For French companies still considering Asia: plugging into this network remains, in our view, the most efficient way to operate across multiple markets without diluting one's resources.
We are here to be your point of entry in Taiwan!
Many thanks to FKCCI French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the program and the welcome, to CCI France International for the coordination, and to all the directors in the room: Jerome Fournand, Caroline PENARD, Nicolas Bonnardel, Steven Bostroem, Jeremy Artan de Saint Martin, Kévin Charuel, Sandrine Lescaroux, Carine Lespayandel, Séverine Clément Derville 苏文林, Adam Koulaksezian, Pascal AMELINE, Virginie Blida, Charles Maridor, Audrey Pierlas. The exchanges in Seoul will continue to feed our work in Taiwan.
1 week in Seoul. 14 directors of French Chambers across Asia. 1 reminder of why this regional network matters for Taiwan.
