🌊 Protect Our Oceans – Beach Cleanup Campaign

The French Chamber Taiwan was pleased to join our member CMA CGM for the “Protect Our Oceans – Beach Cleanup Campaign” at Xialiao Beach, New Taipei City, in support of marine conservation and environmental sustainability.

We were honoured to participate following the invitation from our Board Member, John LIM. Despite the heavy rain and challenging weather conditions, the enthusiasm of our participants never faded. 55 participants came together to roll up their sleeves, clean the coastline, and do their part to protect our oceans.

The beach cleanup was not only a meaningful environmental initiative, but also a wonderful opportunity for our community to work together, strengthen connections, and make a tangible impact.

After the cleanup, everyone gathered for a well-deserved meal at a local seafood restaurant, enjoying fresh local dishes and continuing the conversations beyond the beach. 🦐🍽️

A big thank you to CMA CGM for organising this inspiring initiative, to our Board Member John LIM for the invitation, and to Mary Lee, Senior Specialist at CMA CGM, for her thoughtful arrangements and support throughout the event.

Even under the rain, our community showed that a little bad weather could not stop us from taking action for our oceans. 🌏💙
