Pernod Ricard Taiwan's Responsib'ALL Day Brings Employees Together for "Give Back & Reuse" Initiative

14 Years of Turning Commitment into Action
400 Food Boxes Delivered to Families in Need, Second-Hand Market Promotes Circularity, Connecting Communities and the Environment Through Everyday Sustainability
Guided by its vision of "Good Times from a Good Place," Pernod Ricard Taiwan proudly marked the 14th consecutive year of its annual Responsib'ALL Day, the company's global volunteering initiative. On June 17, in line with the Group's 2026 global theme, "Créateurs de Convivialité: Acting for the Communities We Belong To," Pernod Ricard Taiwan launched its "Give Back & Reuse" initiative, addressing the needs of local communities through meaningful action.
In collaboration with the 1919 Food Bank of the Chinese Christian Relief Association, the sustainability platform Good Deal Exchange, nearly 100 employees and business partners joined forces to support both community well-being and the circular economy. Together, they donated and packed 400 food boxes for underprivileged families while organizing a second-hand market to give pre-loved items and unused branded materials a new life. Proceeds from the charity sale will support coastal windbreak forest restoration and biodiversity conservation projects, transforming care for both communities and the environment into long-term, tangible impact.
Strengthening Community Resilience Through Hands-On Action and Circularity
Pernod Ricard Taiwan continues to embed sustainability into everyday business and employee engagement through the Group's four sustainability pillars: Valuing People, Circular Making, Nurturing Terroir, and Responsible Hosting. By developing initiatives that resonate with local communities and daily life, the company strives to make sustainability not just an ambition, but a shared and lasting practice.
This year's "Give Back" initiative focused on supporting vulnerable communities alongside distribution partners. Beyond donating and purchasing 400 food boxes, nearly 100 employees and partners personally sorted and packed the supplies with the support of the 1919 Food Bank, ensuring they would reach families in need. Through this hands-on experience, participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged households while strengthening their connection with local communities—bringing the Group's Valuing People commitment to life through meaningful action.
In line with its Circular Making pillar, Pernod Ricard Taiwan also organized a "Reuse" second-hand market, encouraging employees to bring gently used household items while repurposing unused company promotional materials. Through sharing, exchanging, and purchasing pre-loved goods, participants extended product lifecycles, reduced waste, and embraced a more circular approach to consumption.
To further extend the initiative's environmental impact, all proceeds from the second-hand market were donated to Good Deal Exchange to support coastal windbreak forest restoration and ecological conservation projects. The donation is expected to fund the planting of 125 native Taiwanese trees, capable of absorbing more than 612.5 kilograms of carbon emissions over time. From extending the life of everyday items to restoring natural ecosystems, the initiative demonstrates how practical actions can create meaningful environmental benefits.
Turning the Spirit of Conviviality into Lasting Responsibility
"Responsib'ALL Day is much more than a one-day volunteering event—it is an ongoing journey of building connections and creating positive impact," said Duncan Wang, Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Taiwan.
"Each year, we explore new ways to respond to the evolving needs of society and the environment, rather than repeating the same activities. Through this year's Give Back & Reuse initiative, we hope our employees can experience firsthand the value of resource circularity and recognize the close relationship between people and the environment. We believe that every seemingly small action can become the starting point for meaningful change. Only by turning care into everyday practice can sustainability truly flourish."
As a Créateur de Convivialité (Creator of Conviviality), Pernod Ricard Taiwan will continue working alongside employees, business partners, and local communities to address social and environmental challenges through concrete action, while deepening its positive contribution to sustainable development in Taiwan and helping build a better future for generations to come.
