Discovering the fascinating world of Ambergris with ISSA
走進深海之寶的香氣世界，與 ISSA 一同探索龍涎香
Yesterday, the French Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan had the pleasure of joining the seminar 《漂浮黃金的世紀尋香：龍涎香深海傳奇與品香研討會》, organized by the International Scent Art Association (ISSA), one of our valued members.
Led by VIC Ho (何宗禧), Chairman of the International Scent Art Academy (ISSA), the seminar offered a fascinating journey into the world of Ambergris — one of the most mysterious and precious natural ingredients in the history of perfumery.
Participants had the opportunity to discover the origins and characteristics of this rare marine treasure, while experiencing it first-hand through touch and smell. The session also featured a selection of perfumes created with Ambergris, allowing participants to better understand its distinctive role in fragrance creation.
Beyond the discovery of this exceptional ingredient, the event brought together many Taiwanese perfume creators and fragrance enthusiasts, creating a great opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and introduce their brands.
The afternoon ended on a particularly special note, with a lucky draw featuring a precious Ambergris prize valued at NT$5,000, as well as beautiful perfume gifts for participants.
A big thank you to ISSA for organizing such an inspiring and immersive experience, and for bringing together Taiwan’s vibrant fragrance community.

9月6日，法國工商會很榮幸參與由我們重要會員 國際香氛藝術協會（ISSA） 主辦的《漂浮黃金的世紀尋香：龍涎香深海傳奇與品香研討會》。
本次活動由 國際香氛藝術學院 ISSA 理事長何宗禧（VIC HO） 主講，帶領參與者深入認識香水世界中極具傳奇色彩的天然香材—龍涎香（Ambergris）。
從龍涎香源自深海的形成與熟成，到其珍貴的香氣特性與在香水創作中的應用，參與者不僅透過專業分享了解這項「深海之寶」，更有機會親手觸摸、實際嗅聞龍涎香原料，並試聞多款以龍涎香為特色的香水，從不同感官體驗其獨特魅力。
除了香氣探索，本次研討會也匯聚了許多台灣的香水創作者與品牌，提供香氛業者交流、認識彼此及分享品牌故事的機會，讓香氛愛好者與業界人士在充滿香氣的午後展開更多交流與連結。
活動最後更安排了價值新台幣5,000元的龍涎香抽獎，並準備精美香水小禮物送給現場參與者，為這場特別的品香之旅畫下完美句點。
