Choose France SEMICON Taiwan: France confirms its place in the global semiconductor ecosystem
SEMICON IS HERE! FRANCE X TAIWAN💙
We are proud to have brought together many people at the inauguration of our Choose France pavilion yesterday at SEMICON Taiwan.
At the opening, Mr. François Wu, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, underlined the strength of relations between France and Taiwan and the importance of the role that France can play in the global semiconductor industry.
Mr. Frédéric Laplanche, the new Director of the French Office in Taipei, also highlighted the excellence and diversity of the French companies present in the pavilion.
This year is really special.
This is the third consecutive year that the France-Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized this pavilion.
This time, we are welcoming more French companies than ever, 10 this year.
Veolia | Asia, CEA-Leti, SiPearl, Inventec Performance Chemicals, Technic Inc. Quobly, STMicroelectronics, ECM Greentech (ECM GROUP), Ion Beam Services and Qolumbus.
Three years ago, we noticed that many countries were represented together at a trade fair as strategic as SEMICON Taiwan and not France. So we went ahead and decided to launch the first French pavilion.
That's why we created this meeting point to highlight French know-how, bring our companies together and establish concrete links with one of the most important semiconductor ecosystems in the world.
Three years later, it is a real satisfaction to see this pavilion grow and welcome more and more French companies.
Behind the French flag, we are proud to highlight technologies, entrepreneurs, engineers and innovative companies.
France has competences to share with Taiwan 🇹🇼, and Taiwan also has a lot to offer France. Let's continue to strengthen the links between our two ecosystems.
