French Chamber Taiwan Proud to Attend IEAT's 80th Anniversary Gala Dinner

French Chamber Taiwan was proud to participate in the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei's (IEAT) 80th Anniversary Gala Dinner, held on September 16, 2026 at the Taipei Han-Lai Hotel. The evening brought together around 450 distinguished guests, including 113 diplomatic and institutional representatives from 41 countries, alongside more than 200 member companies with over fifty years of tenure and overseas sister chambers from across the globe.
Under the theme "Member Prosperity, Opening a New Century," the gala celebrated eight decades of IEAT's contribution to Taiwan's import and export industry. Guests heard remarks from former President Tsai Ing-wen, former Vice President Hsiao Wan-chang, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an, and IEAT Chairman Huang Chiao-chang. President Tsai noted that IEAT's eighty-year history reflects the credibility of Taiwan's business community, observing that enterprises which endure for decades do so through credit, quality, and commitment to their partners. Mayor Chiang highlighted opportunities for continued collaboration on digital transformation, including the Taiwan-US City Industrial Matching Conference.
The evening also honored outstanding partners and long-standing members, with the Outstanding International Cooperation Partner Award presented to seventeen organizations and the Glorious 80-Year Member Award recognizing seven founding member companies.
French Chamber Taiwan is proud to have joined this milestone celebration, standing alongside fellow international chambers and trade representatives in honoring IEAT's decades-long role in strengthening Taiwan's global trade network. The occasion offered a valuable opportunity to reaffirm ties with Taiwan's business community and to celebrate the shared spirit of international partnership that connects our members with Taiwan's trade ecosystem.
