French Chamber Taiwan Participates in Lado HR Roundtable

On 11 September, Stéphane, General Manager of French Chamber Taiwan, participated in an HR roundtable hosted by Lado. The event brought together HR and business professionals to exchange ideas about workplace communication and explore practical ways to help employees express themselves with greater clarity and impact.
During the opening discussion, Stéphane introduced French Chamber Taiwan's HR Club and highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for HR professionals to meet, share experiences, and strengthen their networks. He also reflected on the value of building genuine human connections, both in professional communities and beyond the workplace.
The roundtable focused on an increasingly important challenge for companies in Taiwan: while English proficiency continues to improve, many professionals still find it difficult to participate confidently in international meetings, present their ideas, and adapt their communication to different audiences.
Through an interactive workshop, the Lado team demonstrated that effective business communication is not simply about perfect grammar or sophisticated vocabulary. What matters most is the ability to deliver a clear message, engage the audience, and create the desired impact.
Participants explored several practical communication techniques, including:
- Adapting a message to the needs and concerns of different stakeholders.
- Connecting proposals to measurable business outcomes.
- Delivering a concise and persuasive executive message.
- Using pacing, pauses, and keyword emphasis to strengthen delivery.
- Applying the “rule of three” to make ideas clearer and more memorable.
A practical exercise invited participants to present a flexible-working proposal to different workplace stakeholders. The discussion showed how the same proposal should be framed differently depending on whether the audience is concerned about productivity, accountability, employee retention, team cohesion, or collaboration.
The session offered a valuable opportunity for participants to practice these techniques, exchange feedback, and experience Lado’s dynamic learning approach firsthand.
French Chamber Taiwan was delighted to take part in this insightful roundtable and thanks Lado for bringing together Taiwan’s HR community for such a lively and practical exchange.
