Audi Taiwan – New Q3 and Q3 Sportback launch at Huashan Square
On May 9 and 10, our FCT Member Audi Taiwan launched the third generation Q3 and the Q3 Sportback at Huashan Square. Our General Manager Stéphane Péden as well as our new Member Relations & External Affairs Manager Amber Flynn were here to represent the Chamber. Here is what stood out, and why this launch matters to our business community in Taiwan!
The Q3 is not just another model in the Audi lineup. It is the SUV that opened the brand to a younger audience in Europe and Asia, with more than 2.5 million owners worldwide since its launch. The third generation arrives in Taiwan in two body styles, the standard Q3 and the more coupe-like Q3 Sportback, addressing two buyer profiles without watering down either one. What hits you when you step inside: the cabin is rebuilt around the dual Digital Stage screens, and the Digital Matrix LED headlights bring a genuine technology jump to this segment. Quattro all-wheel drive stays true to form, parking memory handles those repetitive maneuvers near home or the office, and cargo space climbs to 1,386 liters with the seats folded.
For the occasion Audi held a fantastic event that showcased the connectivity and full chain of service that Audi offers to its audience through the My Audi app, where lovers of Audi can also purchase Audi merchandise on the app.
For the French Chamber Taiwan, this kind of event reflects something we have observed for years. Taipei has become a serious stronghold for European premium brands. Audi, like our French members in automotive and lifestyle, finds here a demanding, tech-savvy market ready to pay for real quality. The Volkswagen Group and France share a common logic in this region: deliver European engineering to Asian customers who know exactly what they are buying.
