Alain Aspect at our member Le Pigeonnier Taipei

Yesterday, our General Manager had the opportunity to attend a talk/ experience sharing by Alain Aspect the 2022 Nobel Prize laureate in Physics, recognized “for his experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell’s inequalities and pioneering the path toward quantum computing.” Alain Aspect is an Emeritus Research Director at CNRS and has previously served as a professor at the Institut d’Optique Graduate School and École Polytechnique.

During the event, attendees had the chance to purchase “Einstein et les révolutions quantiques” and “愛因斯坦與量子革命”, and receive a personal book dedication from Mr. Aspect himself.

For those who missed the talk, you still have the opportunity to hear him speak this Tuesday, October 15, at National Taiwan University (NTU), where he will give a public lecture on his groundbreaking work in quantum physics. Taiwanese Nobel Prize in Chemistry winner LEE Yuan-Tseh will also be in attendance!
