AFNOR Group Celebrates 100 Years of Quality, Trust and International Cooperation
In 2026, the AFNOR Group celebrates an exceptional milestone: 100 years of commitment to trust, progress, and sustainable development.
AFNOR Group celebrated its 100th anniversary in Taiwan, bringing together business and institutional representatives to reflect on a century of quality, innovation and international cooperation.
During the event, Stéphane highlighted the strong presence of French companies in Taiwan, with around 200 French companies contributing approximately 25,000 jobs across sectors including energy, transport, technology, finance and healthcare. He also emphasised the complementary strengths of both economies, from Taiwan’s leadership in semiconductors and advanced manufacturing to France’s expertise in energy, research, sustainable development and deep technology.
Looking ahead, he identified three key priorities for French industry: innovation, reindustrialisation and sustainability. These priorities also create opportunities for deeper cooperation between France and Taiwan, particularly in strategic and emerging industries.
The celebration brought together key representatives, including Mr. Antoine Aubel, Head of the Economic Department at the French Office in Taipei; Ms. Myriam, President of AFNOR Asia; Dr. August, Vice President of AFNOR Asia, and Mr. Ganbold Bilguun, General Manager of AFNOR Mongolia, making the occasion with a shared focus on quality, trust and long-term international partnerships.
The French Chamber Taiwan was pleased to support this celebration and continues to strengthen connections between French companies and Taiwan’s business community.
