- If you had close contact with a confirmed case three days before their onset of symptoms and self-isolation (such as eating together, living together, or having face-to-face contact for more than 15 minutes), please stay at home, self-isolate, and wait for a notification from the health unit. Unless there is a need for immediate medical treatment, please do not leave your residence.
- Please stay in a personal room separate from those you live with, try to use bathroom equipment different from them, and do not leave your personal room.
- Please avoid contact with other people in your domicile, especially the elderly, young children, and those with compromised immune systems.
- Please wear a mask and pay attention to your hand hygiene (wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol).
- Observe whether you have symptoms related to COVID-19, such as: fever, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, fatigue, muscle aches, headache, diarrhea, abnormal sense of smell or taste, shortness of breath, etc.
- If you experience the following symptoms, please immediately contact the Health Bureau or dial 119 or 1922: wheezing, difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain, chest tightness, unconsciousness, and/or blue skin/lips/nails.
- Please seek medical treatment or go to a medical screening if directed, and it is forbidden to take public transportation.
- Please request your family to prepare you food and water, and do not share meals or items with them.
- Please use diluted bleach or alcohol to clean the surfaces of all frequently used objects.
- If you did not have close contact with a confirmed case, you will only need to conduct self-monitoring for 14 days. If you have any suspected symptoms, please visit a doctor for a diagnosis while wearing a mask, and inform those you have recently had contact with.

To minimize impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on business operations, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) requires that businesses and enterprises thoroughly abide by the Guidelines for Enterprise Planning of Business Continuity in Response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (in the attachment).
Matters of notice concerning personal and work place sanitation management are listed below.
1. Implement employee health monitoring plan and measures for handling and tracking abnormalities.
2. Enforce resting at home when sick.
3. Implement off-site working or working-from-home mechanisms
4. Adjust working space to maintain proper distances between seats; if social distancing can't be maintained, enforce the mandatory mask-wearing rule.
5. Maintain a distance of 1.5 meters between tables at dining areas in premises of businesses and enterprises and install dividers. Those failing to adopt the measure should offer takeout services.
6. Cancel or delay any large-scale assemblies/conferences or events that are related to work, and consider other alternative solutions, such as video conference. A company should also advise employees to refrain from participating in mass events or activities.
7. Employers should provide a flexible mechanism when employees apply for child care leaves.
