The French Chamber HR Committee Launch
The French Chamber launched our first Club HR yesterday inviting HR leads of major French (and German!) companies to establish our platform to learn from the best practices and common challenges shared across industries.
After hearing a short introduction from participants across the table, we were honoured to hear from Irene Hsueh from Credit Agricole as she walked us through her journey of Diversity and Inclusion awareness raising in her role.
All participants shared that DEI is an important assessment from their European HQs, but how to incorporate the subject matter ranging from gender, generational differences to physical capabilities, just to name a few, was a challenge met by all.
Support from the managing team is vital particularly when it comes to engaging across functions, but Irene mentioned the importance of engaging employees to take initiatives where issues from each employee can be equally reflected. The Credit Agricole MORE program, originally led by Irene, currently runs on it’s own with steering committee members from each sales line with employee engagement rates over the roof!
Our initial HR Club meeting was a hightened success with all members looking to join our next meeting topic on Company Branding and it’s impact on company recruitment on September 26. All members of the French Chamber HRs are welcomed! Contact us for more!
