Regent Taipei has specially selected 28 weekdays from January through March in the Chinese calendar that are considered good days for travel to launch the “Good Day to Travel Room Package”. Simon Wu, managing director of Regent Taipei, stated that since borders have not been fully opened, the occupancy rate of Taipei City business hotels are still only at 20-30% on Mondays through Fridays. Such hotels must provide creative proposals to attract guests to stay on the weekdays. The original intention of the “Good Day to Travel Room Package” is to create a win-win situation for both consumers and the hotel. Consumers can enjoy good prices and five-star service with top facilities while the hotel can also effectively use weekdays to serve customers.
To ensure proper hygiene and the safety of guests, Regent Taipei continues to implement pandemic prevention measures including installing “UVC sterilized air purification equipment” in all public air-conditioning vents to provide customers with peace of mind and clean air quality. The lobby entrance is equipped with US military-grade “infrared thermal imaging thermometer” to conduct temperature screening.
