[Cross-Chamber Workshop] Why Your Margin Leaks?

Pricing isn't lost on the price list—it's lost in decisions made after it. Discover where margin leaks and how to stop it before it hits your P&L.

We are delighted to co-host this event with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taiwan and the Chanadian Chamber Taiwan.

Join us on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, 10:30–12:00 PM at the French Chamber Taiwan Office for this Cross-Chamber Workshop: "Why Your Margin Leaks?"

The talk

Most companies believe their pricing problem lives in a spreadsheet. The budget is signed, the price list carefully set – the margin should follow.

It rarely does. Margin leaks in ways no spreadsheet shows: discount discretion nobody supervises, bonuses that reward volume over margin – and sometimes simply the sales director whose biggest account is also his oldest friend, who can't bring himself to deliver the price increase.

Wherever your list price is set – Paris or your own conference room – what lands in your P&L is the realised price. And everything between the two – discounts, rebates, payment terms, promotional support – is decided locally. The leak is local. So is the fix.

You'll leave knowing:

• Spot it: The pattern behind pricing decisions that get quietly unmade – and how to recognise it in your own meetings.
• Explain it: Why it happens – the incentives, authority gaps and old loyalties that outvote the spreadsheet.
• Size it: How to build a pricing waterfall – from list price to realised price – to put a number on the leak and decide which patch comes first.
