【CSR Event】Hidden Taipei-Serendipity on the Street

Join this tour led by experienced social workers showing you the nooks and crannies of Ximending in the eyes of the homeless people.

What to Expect:

What life is like on the streets

• An experienced social worker would answer your doubts on the social and systematic context of homelessness.

All you need to know before the first engagement

• Members of staff will walk us through how to interact before the walk

A visit to our friends

• Depending on the number of participants, each group will walk through the streets of Ximending with our prepared materials. 

Feedback and Experience Sharing

• What comes to mind after visiting our new friends? Is it doubts, emotions, or creative ideas? Feel free to share your observations and thoughts or even questions.

19:00 - 21:00: A walk with the social worker in the Ximending district

21:00 - 22:30: Prepare and visit our new friends on the streets

22:30 - 23:00: Feedback and experience sharing

Notes

1. If you want to prepare something extra to share with the homeless people (max. Quantity: 15) and are unsure if the items are suitable for them, please feel free to check with us.
    
2. Please wear comfortable shoes, and bring water, rain gear, and a happy mood to join this event.
    
3. You can bring your wired headphones for the wireless audio guide receiver.
    
4. Our guide will be waiting at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts. Please check in with the guide when you arrive.
    
5. To respect the time of other participants, our event will start no later than 5 minutes after the start time. If arriving late, you will need to catch up with the group later.
    
6. The event will still be held on rainy days. Suppose it is canceled or rescheduled due to uncontrollable factors (such as typhoons or heavy rain warnings). In that case, we will notify the participants to cancel or reschedule the event and proceed with subsequent refunds or schedule changes.
