L'Oréal Taiwan: 35 Years of Shaping the Future of Beauty

For 35 years, L'Oréal Taiwan has been shaping the story of beauty in this market, growing from strength to strength alongside the local industry it helped build.
French Chamber Taiwan was honored to join L'Oréal Taiwan's 35th Anniversary and Beauty Co-Creation Day, celebrating this milestone alongside clients, suppliers and the next generation of talent shaping the industry's future.
Thank you, Eva, CEO of L'Oréal Taiwan and Chairwoman of the French Chamber Taiwan, for the warm welcome and for your wonderful work in elevating Taiwan's beauty industry on the global stage. Your dedication to the French Chamber over the years has meant so much to our community, and we're grateful for everything you've built together with us.
What struck us most was how deeply sustainability runs through L'Oréal's operations, not as a talking point but as daily practice. From refillable packaging across their portfolio of brands to the "Join The Refill Movement" initiative encouraging consumers to reduce single use plastic, the commitment to doing business responsibly was visible everywhere on the floor.
Innovation was just as present. With expanded partnerships with NVIDIA and OpenAI, and AI powered tools like TAKAMI's skin diagnostic device and Kiehl's Derma Reader, L'Oréal is putting technology to work for genuine personalization, meeting every consumer where they are rather than offering one size fits all beauty.
And perhaps most memorable was the idea of beauty as ritual. L'Oréal's vision connects skin, mind and emotional wellbeing into one experience, a reminder that caring for yourself and caring for the environment around you are not separate acts, but part of the same practice.
As Eva prepares to pass the torch, we want to say thank you for everything you've done for Taiwan's beauty industry and for the French Chamber. We look forward to welcoming Valentina, and to continuing to strengthen the relationship between France and Taiwan through L'Oréal for many years to come.
