On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, the French Office in Taipeihas the honor of hosting, on Friday, March 6, an evening dedicated to the role of women in resilience-related sectors, in partnership with the National Human Rights Commission,the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Taiwan, France Alumni Taiwan and La French Tech Taiwan.
It will bring together institutional leaders, civil society actors, as well as representatives from the business and non-profit sectors engaged in promoting gender equality and resilience.

🔹 Panel discussion (5:00–6:30 PM) As part of the program, a panel discussion will be co-organized by the French Office in Taipei and the National Human Rights Commission, and moderated by Ms CHI Hui-Jung, the Vice Chairperson of the Commission. Conducted in English, the discussion will focus: – Women’s participation in civil defense and civil protection – The role of women in military service and the armed forces – Violence against women in times of conflict Confirmed panelists include Ms Liu Wen (Chairperson, Kuma Academy) and representatives from the Awakening Foundation and the Taipei Women’s Rescue Foundation. |

🔹 Speed mentoring session (7-8:00 PM) Following the panel discussion, a mentoring session will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., co-organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and La French Tech Taiwan. Conducted in English, the speed mentoring session will bring together women professionals working in strategic sectors, including semiconductors, healthcare, sustainability, and fintech. The session will be structured around short rotating discussions, offering participants the opportunity to exchange on career paths, leadership challenges, and opportunities in cross-border and strategic industries. Confirmed mentors include Ms Lucia Liao (President of Acer Fashion), Ms Emily Fang (CEO of InFocus Therapeutics), Ms Linda Chang (Deputy Director Asia-Pacific, ECM Greentech), Ms Anne Kwang (Director of the Depollution Business Line, Veolia Taiwan), Ms Emilia Chen (Founder, Formosa Impact Circle and PolygonSearch), and Ms Ching-Hua Lin Rosengard, (Co-President, La French Tech Taiwan & Founder, DigiFashion Forum). |
