[WEBINAR] After the COVID-19 Crisis: Reflecting on Sustainable Development, Public Policies and Changes in our Societies by CCI FRANCE-INDE

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Sciences Po is organizing a webinar on “After the COVID-19 crisis: reflecting on sustainable development, public policies and changes in our societies” on 7th May 2020

About Sciences Po:

Sciences Po is an international research university, both selective and open onto the world, ranking among the finest institutions in the fields of humanities and social sciences.

About the event:

The current health crisis and its socio-economic consequences opens numerous uncertainties on changes in our economies and societies: while we struggle with emergency responses, we need at the same time to analyse and discuss the options for our societies and economies to progressively exit the crisis. Are they going to be transformed by the crisis? Can the recovery from the crisis be an opportunity to make a further step towards more equitable, more resilient and more sustainable societies? What can be the role of the different players?

Speaker for the event:

Prof. Sébastien Treyer is the Executive Director of IDDRI (Sciences Po), a research institute on sustainable development and international relations. He is a specialist in foresight for public policies and international negotiations on sustainable development. A civil servant of the French ministries of Agriculture and Environment, Dr Treyer has been in charge of foresight at the French ministry for the Environment

Appended below are the details:

  • Day and Date: Thursday, 7th May 2020
