Taoyuan Agriculture Expo 2019
The Taoyuan Agricultural Expo is emphasizing the excellence of Taiwanese agriculture; Focusing on environmental sustainability, agricultural production and smart farming, the exhibition reflected Taiwan’s sustainable position of strength within agricultural industries.
The third edition of the Expo was inaugurated on September 28th. The opening ceremony was highlighted by the visit of the president Tsai Ing-Wen; Mr. Elias Kazi, Co-chair of the CCIFT’s F&B Committee, had the opportunity to be invited on stage at her side.
The CCIFT was proud and honored to showcase French gastronomy through a CCIFT French Pavilion located inside a unique food court, and handled by F&B Committee members. The grand opening of the pavilion took place on October 8th; with the participation of Mrs. Anne Guinaudeau, Senior Trade Advisor of the French Trade Commission at Business France, and Mr. Jay Tzu-Chieh Yen , Taoyuan’s Government Director of Secretariat.
While Somm’ Spirit D offered refined French wine and gourmet food, Orezza sold premium sparkling water from Corsica. At last but not least, Belga proposed authentic Belgian waffles during the last week end of the event.
A special mention goes to ‘’The Pack’’, our official charity which is organizing activities to help stray cats and dogs to find foster families.
