Korean Cooking - March 7 (10:00am - 12:30pm)

Join Kimmie, a passionate cook who brings Korean flavors to wherever she lives in the world. In this class, she’ll show you how to create iconic Korean dishes using ingredients you can easily find in Taiwan.
What You’ll Learn to Make:
- Starter: Fresh Kimchi Salad (Geotjeori - 겉절이)
- Main Dish: Soy Sauce Marinated Beef (Bulgogi - 간장불고기)
- Dessert: Korean Sweet Pancakes (Hotteok - 호떡)

Sanxia Old Street and Indigo Dye Center Tour - March 11 (8:45am - 3:00pm)

Would you like to be able to communicate with shopkeepers, taxi drivers and co-workers? Whether you've just arrived in Taiwan or have been here awhile, this is the class for you. Learn spoken Mandarin in a relaxed and informal environment right here at The Center. The course is 39 hours, all materials included. Event
Evening Survival Chinese 1 - Beginner - Mar 3 to May21
Mondays & Wednesdays (6:30pm - 8:00pm)
Join Lucy for an adventure to Sanxia. First you'll visit one of the town’s indigo dye centers. Here you’ll have the chance to create a beautiful hand-dyed piece of your own (optional, with additional cost). Then you can explore Sanxia Old Street, do some shopping and try some of the tasty treats available. If you want, you can have lunch in one of the local restaurants (not included). This tour ends at Fuzhong MRT Station. Event

Hosted by the Community Services Center, Poetry Night is back for its fourth edition, bringing together poets and poetry lovers for an evening of spoken word, storytelling, and creative expression.
This time, we’re stepping beyond the Center’s walls and into a brand-new venue: Athena Books 春秋書店! Nestled in a cozy, book-filled space, 春秋書店 offers the perfect backdrop for an intimate night of poetry, connection, and community. Whether you’re a seasoned poet, a first-time performer, or just here to listen, all are welcome to share in the power of language.
