Taipei, July 13 (CNA) All Taiwanese nationals and residents born in or before 2003 can now use the nationwide COVID-19 vaccine appointment system to choose the brand of vaccine they wish to take and where they want to take it, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said on Tuesday.

Vaccination appointment registration will be opening soon for foreigners over 68 years old with a Taiwan Alien Resident Certificates (ARC). Registration will be open from 8AM to 5PM on 7/8 (Thur) and 7/9 (Fridays) or until fully booked on https://vaccine.tmuh.org.tw/?ccms_cs=1&ccms_cs=1

The link might not be useable at the time being but will certainly be working when the registration begins.

Vaccinations will be carried out on 7/15 (Thur) from 9AM to 12PM and 2PM to 5PM at Taipei Municipal Xinyi Junior High School.

Details about the "vaccination registration and appointment reservation system", developed by Minister without Portfolio Audrey Tang (唐鳳), are listed.

The system is launched in phases for individuals in the CECC's list of priority groups.

Regarding vaccine allocation, in principle, only one brand of COVID-19 vaccine is available for vaccination appointments every week in this phase.

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan's new vaccine registration system has entered the testing phase and members of the public can already enter the brand of the COVID-19 vaccine they prefer to receive. On Tuesday, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that a new online vaccine registration system developed by Digital Minister Audrey Tang (唐鳳) has entered the testing phase. Starting on Tuesday (July 6), the system is being opened on a trial basis to residents of the outer islands of Kinmen, Matsu, and Penghu.

The CECC aims to prioritize three groups: healthcare workers (Group 1), central and local government epidemic prevention personnel (Group 2), and frontline workers with a high risk of COVID-19 contact (Group 3) in Taipei and New Taipei following the arrival of 410,000 doses of the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine and 150,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine.
