Taipei's landmark skyscraper Taipei 101 is preparing to host the Towerrunning World Championships in May, a spokesman for the building told CNA.

Taipei 101 has won the right to host the Towerrunning World Association's (TWA) highest level competition on May 5, Taipei 101 spokesman Michael Liu (劉家豪) said recently, and he anticipated it will be an excellent test for the world's top stair runners.

Taiwanese Olympic athletes headed to Pyeongchang, South Korea
