The company produce chemical products (primarily fungicides) used in the protection of soap wraps and labels.

In 2009, this client asked the CCIFT to provide them with a market feasibility study for soap wraps in Taiwan, which included:

  • Evaluating local demand: Identifying soap brands that are present in local supermarkets, determining market share for these respective brands, and providing a sample of the wrapping used to our client
  • Evaluating shelf space dedicated to each brand of soap
  • Identifying and contacting the manufacturers of each brand’s soap wrapping
  • Providing the client with all relevant manufacturer contacts

In the span of two weeks, the CCIFT was able to distinguish relevant actors in the sector and to obtain eleven meetings with decision-makers within these firms for the client’s 3-day visit.
