Language Program for Business

Our Mission:

"Exchange Brings Excellency" - a new model of strategic cooperation between businesses and the academic circle. To facilitate our strategic partners a channel to help their employees sharpen language skills in doing business, the College of Foreign Languages of Fu Jen Catholic University will provide you our resources, including a team of faculty from 6 departments at the College, and teach 6 different language courses for business, namely English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. All the courses are free of charge. It is our hope that our strategic partners could sign a Letter of Intent for prioritized internship offers to students at the College when future internship opportunities are available. Current students of Fu Jen Catholic University are also encouraged to participate in the courses.

Courses features:

Diversified languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, and Italian;

Dynamic course design: intercultural communication, literature, linguistics, translation and interpretation, brief introduction of 6 countries, business letters and e-mail writing, and German business negotiation;

Professional faculty team: instructors are professionals from different industries and faculty members from Colletge of Foreign Languages of Fu Jen Catholic University, including chairpersons from 6 departments.

Courses:

Same courses will be provided for two separated terms. Students are encouraged to choose different languages for each term.

1st term: 2010/3/1 - 2010/7/31 (10:00am - 12:00 n.n., every Saturday)*

2nd term: 2010/8/1 - 2010/12/31 (10:00am - 12:00 n.n., every Saturday)*

* Italian course schedule: 11:00am - 1:00pm, every Saturday.
