19/10/09 - New French Pastry in Taiwan
Mr. Laurent Ludwig started his own business in Taiwan on April 26th, 2009. The idea to open a fine patisserie came to him when he offered two Buddhist monks a taste of some macaroons that he had brought with him while dining at a Taipei restaurant. Having found them delicious, the two monks later sought out M. Ludwig and placed an order for 1000 macaroons for a reception that they were hosting. Four days later, at about 7am in the morning, 1000 macaroons were delivered!
Mr. Ludwig was born on the 7th of September 1969 and has over 20 years of experience in the fine pastry and desserts industry. He specializes in chocolate, fruit-based, and other types of mousse deserts, fruit tarts, brioche bread, cakes, macaroons, plus quiches and petits fours for cocktail gatherings.
Open seven days a week, M. Ludwig offers delivery not only in Taipei, but also to all Taiwan locales. He is willing to stage pastry demonstrations and is capable of providing for all your dessert catering needs, be it for banquets, birthday celebrations, marriage receptions, as well as for luncheons and dinners.
