The France Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has recently held its 21st General Assembly at the Westin Hotel Taipei.
Pascal THIEN-AH-KOON, the 2010 CCIFT Chairman, has been reelected for this year by the 2011 Executive Board members.

CCIFT has organized in association with Invest in France (Taipei Office) and the French Institute a luncheon at Grand Formosa Regent Taipei Hotel that has been attended by more than 50 people. The speakers, Ms. Li-Wei Huang, Mr. Denis Forman, and Mr. Pascal Thien-Ah-Koon have dealt with the impact of the newly signed France-Taiwan tax agreement to avoid double taxation. This seminar has been opened by Patrick Bonneville, director of the French Institute in Taipei.

The workshop, organized by the CCIFT in association with Coface at Taipei 101, has been attended by 35 people, who attentively listen to the speaker, Kenneth Lam. He dealt with “Emerging Asia” and credit risk. Emerging markets such as India, Indonesia, and Malaysia are becoming more and more attractive for global investors, but there are still risks to trade with them.
