Carnaval de Nice is France’s leading and most spectacular Carnival, and dates back to the Middle Ages. Each year in February/March, music, parades and gigantic animal floats explode in bright lights and colors onto the streets of this seaside Southern city, every day and night during a fortnight, culminating with the famous battle of the flowers and a stunning firework for Mardi-Gras.
